Remy Richard

Founder and partner of Fortified Gulf Coast LLC, I graduated from Louisiana State University with a degree in Economics. I have over 15 years of expertise as a General Contractor, and my family roots are from the River Parishes. I have lived and worked in New Orleans for over 23 years and proud father of two beautiful girls. My commitment to family stands at the heart of my values.

My background in economics and construction enhances my ability to understand the financial and insurance aspects of wind mitigation. Recognizing the vital need for resilient homes in storm-prone areas, I transitioned from building old and new houses to establishing a wind mitigation inspection company. Driven by a passion for creating resilient homes, I focus on integrating advanced building techniques to protect against future hurricanes. Armed with a Fortified Evaluator's license, General Contractor license, and diverse home-building classifications, I am dedicated to educating and assisting clients in constructing homes that not only withstand the forces of nature but also set a standard for better building practices.

Beyond my professional pursuits, I am heavily involved in the community, contributing to the well-being and safety of the neighborhoods where I live and work. My goal is to foster a resilient future not just in construction but in the fabric of the communities we call home.
